"The Golden Bat... A relic from another time, turned hero for those that face peril in their lives. A living legend...if he truly is alive. He is, I aught say, for whom am I to say not? Especially when others of today resemble him" -Ms. Magpi recounting her Golden Bat costume. #art #traditionalart

What is... #NeoBestiary?

In short, Neo Bestiary is my OC passion project.
It's a series of stories taking place in the same universe, mostly in comic form.
It's also the name of the in-universe "blog," which I'm setting up to be the "main hub" of the project.

I've only got one story so far, The Namako Incidents, but expect this universe to expand in the future!
I've got lots of plans and ideas, so expect Neo Bestiary to stick around. (Heck, I'll likely still be working on it ten years from now!)
Perhaps I'll set up a Patreon or advertise my Ko-Fi if I want to keep doing this for a living...

In the meantime, I'm quite busy with all sorts of things Neo Bestiary. Not only am I writing and illustrating for The Namako Incidents; I'm also coming up with more characters and stories.
Here are some samples!
If you'd like to keep up with Neo Bestiary as much as possible, I've got a Discord (link in bio)! It's kinda bare, but it'll do for now.
And perhaps...join the beta reader group too?

I created a poll for my Discord community to vote on which costumes Catalina should wear for Halloween. It was Felicia from Darkstalkers or Rouge the bat from Sonic. Felicia won with the most votes. Also, it is rare for Catalina to fully transform into a humanoid cat monster with all the fur.

"An interesting character she is. Of folklore she hales from, I have been told. The Neko Musume... The author as well...quite the character he is. I hope he is happy, wherever he may be now..." -Ms. Magpi, remembering her time wearing a Neko Musume costume.

Looking through my older pieces to upload, I came across this. @zambiie.bsky.social's lovely Avery, fanart I had a lot of fun making a year prior. One of the first times I drew a flower centric or nature driven bg too. Great memories. And do follow em.
