StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 14/11/2024Last I heard they were trying to cram the first two books into one movie. -_- If they make good on that threat there's no way it won't flop. 120
StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 13/11/2024I love the early Ranger's Apprentice books! So sad that they canceled the TV show and are on track to ruin the movie. -_- It would be wonderful if the film making industry realized that the international best selling author's story shouldn't be gutted when turning it into a film. 120

StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 30/10/2024With enough pressure, maybe Formosa will stop acting like a tentacled, voice-stealing Disney villain. Or maybe Hoyo will ax Formosa & move the Genshin VAs to another studio. A Better studio. 030
StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 30/10/2024So, make sure you tell Hoyo that when they send out their next survey. Tell them you want real voices by real actors, not regurgitated AI soundbites. And let them know how disappointed you are that Formosa is prolonging the VA strike. Ask if anything can be done. 130
StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 30/10/2024all those English voice actors have had to go on strike. And I support them completely. Voice actors bring the characters we love to life. They make the entire experience of a game more fun. Replacing them with AI is going to gut an essential part of the fandom. 120
StrangeDiamond @strangediamond.bsky.social · 30/10/2024We should have been able to hear Kaveh & Alhaitham bickering, Candace coolly cutting to the heart of every matter, & above all, Nahida narrating the new chapter of her journey in her adorable, warbling baby bird voice. But bc Formosa is trying to use AI to steal all those voices 120
