On hot days like this, Ontario's grid gets pushed to its limit. According to Electricity Map, it's only about 69% carbon free right now. Not nice. Our clean energy sources are so low right now because we stopped adding clean energy to our grid.

When it comes to climate change, we like to pretend the worst of it won't affect us. Until it does. A wildfire on Vancouver Island threatens the lives of many British Columbians. They're being evacuated.
