I'd argue the addition of a credit-card verification is a much better option, if it's what I expect, because a credit card number can be revoked at any time if compromised. Nonetheless the paradigm remains unacceptable development overall that fails to protect youth and imposes on everyone's privacy

When you charge the same price for physical copies and digital copies, there’s no indication that it’s a rental. The language should be clear at purchase, there should be a price difference and you should make it clear how long they have access to it.

Also, with it being the end of the season, just give us an unlimited number of sprite extractors already. Makes collecting them far easier, and less stressful, than to just risk losing them to sweats. Another thing, camping is THE most sleaziest strategy you can do in ANY PvP game. -END OF LINE-

Time for another rant. With sprites now staying in #Forntite, Epic should just make all active sprite extraction zones into safe areas, no PvP, just extract and leave. I am just very ticked off that people are sweating for these sprites.

I see flatpak more like a standalone install. Similar to on Windows, you can install it to the system for all users(similar to package managers), or install it for the user only (similar to flatpak.) Though I prefer the system to flatpak, given it's sandboxed nature.

So far, things are holding up. My biggest worry is how Steam will act now, as some of this tinkering required grabbing packages straight from Ubuntu's repos instead of from the Pop!OS repos. Other than that, everything pretty much works as I want it to.

Doing something I probably shouldn't be doing, updating my main PC from 24.04 to 26.06, after some tinkering on my laptop. Still waiting for @system76.bsky.social to release Pop!OS 26.04 hopefully soon. If things don't go well, refreshing again won't be as cumbersome.

After hopefully fixing some issues with Envision+Monado, the only issue I have now is with the annoying tablet pointer mouse input with the Cosmic DE. From what I read, the setting/mapping of absolute mouse input, condensing X monitors to a single display, not happy with how that works.

Got something to rant about for @vrchat.com, really not fond of the lockout of that rainbow fan cosmetic behind that hype train system. Should've just been a reward for gifting X subs total during the event. I say this as every single chance was at the launch of the #VRCPride event. Not anymore.

Just said screw it and refreshed my install on my main PC, as I had issues with the Plasma 6.7 update from the KDE Neon repo. So uh, #PopOS 26.04 when? Testing on that laptop, still issues with that DHCP functions program causing issues with the initramfs generation.

So in trying to update Pop!OS on a laptop I have for testing purposes, updating it from 24.06 to 26.06, only one program has issues, and of course it's over that controls the DHCP functions for systemd. More tinkering then.
