"Kiss The Villain" 📚💙 #booksky Reads like a dark romance story that's allergic to consequences, the MCs can't do anything bad without it being excused by the narrative. Smut scenes felt same-y. Didn't really like the protagonists most of the time. Chuckled at some of the more dramatic stuff! 🐍2/5🐍

"The Fellowship of the Ring" #booksky 📚💙 The first half of this book was so boring I almost gave up, but after arriving in Rivendell I really started liking it. I like the elves the most so far, and how affectionate everyone is. For me, Aragorn was better in the text than in the movies. ⛰️3/5⛰️

🇫🇮 "Työmiehen vaimo" 📚💙 Tärkeä teksti, suurin osa tietää varmaan mistä on kyse. Vappu on paras, muut alas :D. 👰‍♂️4/5👰‍♂️

"The Secret Diaries of Charles Ignatius Sancho" #booksky 📚💙 A good historic fiction read in 1700s London, with a black MC! I enjoyed reading this. Still, it felt like we didn't get 'enough' of his life, like the author was rushed after a certain point and the details stopped being filled in. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿3/5🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

"Wuthering Heights" #booksky 📚💙 Different than I expected! The atmosphere & environment were described wonderfully, delightfully gloomy all around. Heathcliff had a great presence to him as the tragic villain(?) of the story. I'm glad I read it, but it didn't leave a massive impression. 🏞️3/5🏞️

"The Eye of The World" #booksky 📚💙 The world = yes. The book = no. Focusing on this book was so hard. The characters felt like cardboard, they don't seem to bond with one another, there aren't enough questions or answers. I really want the next book to be better, so I will keep reading. 🍃2/5🍃

"Salamandastron" #redwall #booksky 📚💙 My 2nd favorite Redwall story so far (the first book still wins)! Emotional, explores new themes, good villain duo. But why oh why does it have so many POV groups? The disease plotline should have been its own book. Also I'm tired of the shrews PFFT. 🦡4/5🦡

"Project Hail Mary" #booksky 📚💙 REFRESHING. I didn't even realize how much I needed a break from angsty protagonists and gritty 'realism'. An emotional adventure with heart and whimsy, maybe that's how I'd describe it. The flashbacks were the most 'meh' part, but even those aren't bad. ⭐5/5⭐

"Jade City" 📚💙 #booksky Character-driven mafia fantasy. It takes a while to get going, and seems to be leaving a lot for the sequels to tackle. For those that care about 'magic systems': it was pretty clearly defined but it isn't the focus of the story. I want to see where the characters go! 🟢4/5🟢
