Can’t post on main, but a colleague used AI for something important but not difficult, and it’s now taking us probably 5 times longer to deal with the issues AI has created than if they’d just done this VERY EASY THING THEMSELF

I’m reading Remnants right now and honestly I’m having a hard time staying invested in the story. Maybe it’s that slavery is a prominent theme and it’s just making me feel uncomfortable? I’m on book 6 though, so I’m almost done, I feel like I’ve gotta push through.

What a review, now I’m thinking of putting a pin in Remnants of Filth and starting this

Modern day AU #wangxian idea: WWX invents a new type of AI (for something good like assisting with medical diagnoses), LWJ is a neo-Luddite who staunchly opposes all AI, and someone (JGY?) steals WWX’s AI for evil (like corporate profit stealing people’s medical data).

I added a super angsty pining-while-fucking #FengQing extra to my grad student AU #tgcf fic. I now want to write a whole fic of them. archiveofourown.org/works/633081...

Thousand Autumns was a slow start for me, but I ended up really liking it. I’m having the exact opposite reaction to Remnants of Filth. Started off and I was hooked, but now on book 6 I just feel exhausted. I think maybe the losing memory-gaining memory-losing memory is too much for me, idk

I was joking when I said Ilia Malinin was like Jean-Jacques Leroy with his song choice, it wasn’t supposed to be a prediction #yurionice

Question: Should I just post all my WIPs to AO3? I have them all on my Google Drive and I just keep forgetting about them, so I’m wondering if I post them then I’ll remember? There are a lot, manly wangxian, Hualian, matchablossom,

After writing my #yurionice crossover with #sk8theinfinity I kinda wanna write more crossover fics where Viktor gives terrible advice. Who would you want to see Viktor give advice to (from any universe)?

Generative ai is inherently anti-socialist/communist because you are robbing people of their own means of production.

Ok here it is: The definitive (VERY) short list of my all time favorite WangXian fics😤😤😤 (Making this properly so I dont have to keep remaking the list every time I update it) (Note the order is the order that I read them in and is NOT a comparison)

I usually use Google docs for fanfics but I want to migrate to another system this year. What do you all use? Should I just go back to word and storing on my computer like it’s 2003?

It’s from a song and teens turned it into a stupid meme. I can’t remember the original context (height I think) in the song, but apparently it was an ear worm so kids just say “six seven” and laugh. It’s…annoying

#wangxian Christmas fic alert! Modern AU, very silly. It is completed and I’ll be posting the remaining 2 chapters over the next week as I edit them. archiveofourown.org/works/754053...

Screen shot of the following text:
Santa Baby
stormsonjupiter

Summary:

Wei Wuxian works as a Christmas elf at the local mall, but the new Santa is terrible! This is bad news because the charity that runs the Santa booth needs to get more donations than ever before.

So Wei Wuxian does the only thing he can—he offers Santa lessons!

A silly, modern-Christmas AU.
