This was the most fascinating Trails game to finally revisit (Nearly 10 years since I last played it). As it really shows me how much stuff Falcom has planned out since the start of the series all the way to the latest entry, Trails beyond the Horizon.

Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter completed! Falcom once again did the impossible task of remaking a game that was already a masterpiece. And not only do I think they succeeded but I think this might be the best video game remake I've played. #StormSky2nd

My next big drawing is pretty ambitious, so I've taken a small little break to make sure I'm prepped to color it! I might aim for sharing a sketch on my Patreon page for members soon though! Not sure quite yet.

Rixia can do this! This is a secret Yin technique!

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I def will understand the people who do really like it though. It's just not for me.

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

So I tried the new Castlevania. In all honesty, I'm not a fan of it. I think it's an interesting hack and slash action Metroidvania... But it doesn't feel like Castlevania to me. Bloodstained is kind of how I imagined a modern Castlevania game would be. This new game is not.

Ah, so that's how they kept it lmao. I am impressed Falcom found a way to keep this in 3D. #StormSky2nd

Sky SC is so funny because you'll have a heartbreaking emotional scene, only for Phantom Thief B to do this 30 minutes later. #StormSky2nd

Phyllis, probably one of the most niche Trails npc's gets fanart! (Possibly her first online?) See it early on my Patreon!

What Trails character do you all think has consistently the best writing in the series? For me, I think it's definitely Renne.

I forgot Fate/Stay Night! Oops... That was the game that really got me into art especially!

It's such a small detail, but Falcom going out of their way to make every single party member have a unique animation using this one off tool in one side quest really shows how detail focused they've become. It's impressive! #StormSky2nd

I made the composition form an "X" or a "Cross" on purpose. Those who know of Renne's journey will understand the meaning.

My Sky 2nd launch sketch has been completed. I spent nearly 5 hours in total working on every single little detail. I really hope you all enjoy it when launch day comes! Renne is the main focus of the art, as well as other characters will be present. 🙇

To get Roll and Protoman in the modern age, you'll have to find a save file with them unlocked. As they were originally a free bonus from connecting your PSP to Capcom's website.

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Replayed Mega Man Powered Up. It isn't as tight as the other 2D games, but it's still fun. I hope one day we have a MM title with this many playable characters again. You can play as every robot master, four variants of Mega Man, 13 versions of Roll, and Protoman.

Waiting this long to not rebuy Mario Kart 8 has finally paid off... After like 10+ years... I finally got it due to the price error last night. 😎 Think harder spend less as they say, or something.

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

The brand new update for Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure looks so great! With this u can play the game with an updated cleaned up texture mode, the classic original textures without filters, and classic with a filter replicating the look of the PSP version.

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

While helping with this, I looked closely at the design and worked on refence images + measurement charts. We're working hard to make it be as accurate to its design in Trails in the Sky 2nd chapter. I'm happy to be a part of the process on this product!

Stormowlo 🦉 @stormowl0.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Happy to say I helped with this! I thought it would be very cool for Renne's doll to become a real accurate plushie! Please look forward to it!
