First time I’ve touched tarot cards in like a year and a half or so and this is the pull I get. I did a single card pull earlier and ALSO got the two of wands reversed. I don’t really put stock in these things, but also sometimes it does feel like the universe is shouting at me.

BUT I have had two coworkers whose time at our chapter did not over lap at all, each independently tell me to watch out for her because she’s manipulative and two faced. Over the last few years I have taken note of her behavior and come to believe that they were right about her.

There’s a version of this story where THAT COWORKER thought it was okay to use this match that had been discussed, but never officially settled when soliciting donors. But under a review, i believe this would be regarded as misleading donors.

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.

So the only reason I didn’t punch a student nurse last night was because I was holding my baby at the time. I told him what he was doing wrong and I don’t know if he was nervous or overwhelmed or just ignoring me. Doesn’t matter. It’s on sight. If I ever see him again, THAT will be my whole day.

Before I found out I was pregnant I was preparing to start the job hunt. Put that on pause because “baby”. Now I’ve been back for a few months and yeah, I think it’s time to start looking. Which sucks. This economy SUCKS. And I like the org I work for, just not this role in this chapter.

This coworker is supposed to retire at the end of December and I CANNOT WAIT. She was supposed to retire over a year ago. If she doesn’t retire December I genuinely plan to ask my therapist to help me get medical leave for anxiety/stress just so that I can get a fucking break from this person.

This was not a small discrepancy. We are talking about a difference of $6M. Telling someone “these are the revenue totals” and that total includes what you plan to ask for (HAVE NOT EVEN ACTUALLY ASKED FOR IT YET) is what most regular people would call A LIE, right?

I'll specifically add my thoughts to this, so there's no confusion. Lindsey Graham was a terrible person who used his political power for evil. We should absolutely call that out. But don't be homophobic about it. We can criticize his hypocrisy without the punchline being, "Ha ha he was gay."

If that person doesn’t retire I’m might have a full meltdown. They’ve been a major aggravation for years through their inability or possible refusal to learn the actual processes of the job, not to mention the passive manipulation and boundary pushing (steamrolling).

Part of me wishes that the one biggest problem coworker wasn’t retiring at the end of the year so that the coworker who has take up the mantel of teaching/guiding will get to experience having to do all of this all over again. But not really.

I know this won’t super help because brains are dumb, BUT I’m VERY picky about scented candles because most of them end up smelling like an overwhelming muddle of chemicals that I can taste in the air and I hate that. Please consider how many candles I’ve purchased from you. Your candles are GOOD.
