Extremely difficult day yesterday. Found out that someone at work who had always advocated for me had been killed the night before. I had a hard time sleeping last night, and I just felt dead inside all day. I'm trying to not think about it today, but I'm going to a memorial for her at work.

I only got myself to go to the store today because they were having a special where you get 30 cents in "fuel saver" points if you spend $60. I spent $130 and bought some things that earned 10 and 7 cents on their own, and got 77 cents per gallon for next time i fill up.

I love it because it's "safe". Kayako can't come get me because I didn't do the one thing that causes all the trouble: entering the house. Whereas other ghosts and ghouls don't have that barrier. Similarly Ringu/The Ring are safe bc I didn't watch the tape.

Pros of hair wash day: clean scalp, soft hair, day-1 curls. Cons: Cold water, having to do a core workout and be bent over so the cold water doesn't run down your back, dizzy after, air drying hair bc diffuser sucks worse.
