I think, for me, their line about how TADC is about how being terminally online is bad actually explains a lot about the more negative part of the fandom Of course they wouldn't like the show/ending TADC held up a mirror and they didn't like it

Mayhap the best analysis I've seen for this show yet. Thank you Tale Foundry Team

Amazing how much better and interesting the book has gotten as soon as they let the villain pov actually be unapologetically evil instead of waffling about it and is actually just a sad misunderstood guy really like was afraid the whole book might be when WC decided to do a villain super edition

Humans in Warrior Cats land are something else Toddler terrorizes cat and then finally pulls said cat's tail leading it to claw said toddler? Clearly the only reasonable response is to spray the cat (your pet) with a hose to chase it and your other cat who didn't even do anything off your lawn

Snowy @storieddreams.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Well. That's a first. Seems a couple of books I got from the library weren't actually checked out. Follies of checking out a big stack I guess

To absolutely no one's surprise, my dumb cartoony style has come back to bite me -.- These title cards are gonna look terrible in a month even IF I manage to improve drawing these characters by then

I drew the new weird cat

Cutesy drawing of a Leopardus tilcayo loafing with its tongue poking out. A short phrase in spanish wraps around its back: un michi tilcayo! (a tilcayo kitty!)

Not a knock against either btw; I enjoyed the hell out of Despereaux as a kid. Twisty twiney fairy tales where you get to see various sides of the same story that all interconnect and enhance the story as a whole are my absolute jam

*watches movie off of netflix* This movie is giving me The Tale of Despereaux vibes *looks up author of the book movie is based off of* Ah. That's why. Same author

Took me roughly twelve days, but finally finished Great Expectations Overall, good book. Bit of a slower start than Two Cities but I wouldn't call it /overly/ long. I suppose ymmv depending on what other classic books you've read in your lifetime/exposure to older prose is

I really do love A&W restaurants though. I think I've only been to four in my life with three during my adult life but Man are they charming. Love that the one we went to yesterday still had all their drive in spots from the fifties still operational and a dine in area with waiters

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Got to have lunch at the VERY RARE and forever charming A&W and then watched Coyote vs Acme with my sister and mom God what a good movie. So glad it got to see the light of day

As I get closer to actually working on/posting THE PROJECT, self doubt/fear starts rearing it's ugly head telling me 'it's too cringe' 'no one will like it' I gotta remind myself /Nothing/ I write for this thing is gonna be as rough or cringe as the source material was

@tabbiewolf.bluestripedboxers.com Congrats on your boy getting his very own special limited edition card for Disney's trading card game (and being the first Disney Parks character to be on a card)

REALLY unfair of Disney to start tempting me with a Fall (*cough*Halloween*cough) themed line of dolls, all of which will presumably be villains

Only downside to the Dickens Double Feature book from the library are the pages are so very very thin I don't think I've ever come across pages this...waxy in a book before Other than that, I am SUPER excited about reading A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations

Finally figured out what's been making me so annoyed at a particular fandom lately They've been babyfying a character I rather like to the point where any rough edges or flaws they have may as well not exist

Pros of doing a collab fic with someone you know irl: They will make sure you hold up your end of the bargain and smother any self doubt you may start to have about said fic

Bummer the only comments I get in my fics lately are from commission scam bots On one hand; they're funny whenever they mention 'turning the last page' but on the other man do I miss hearing a reader's thoughts on the chapter/fic whenever it turns out the comment is just a bot

The urge to put swear words in a fanfic vs knowing you probably shouldn't as the source material is for kids and the target audience will no doubt find and read said fanfic

Finally watched the last two episodes of Digital Circus It was really really good; definitely a happier ending than I thought it'd be when the show started. I'm glad I gave this show a chance and only really got into it within the last six months or so of it's release schedule

Been a couple days now since coming back from vacation and man. It really is nice how much my home state loves nature in comparison to Florida Even the biggest cities smack dab in the middle of the state have so much greenery mixed with the city buildings
