My hatred for Gen AI knows no bounds. If your game has gen AI I will not play it, if your store has AI flyers I will not shop there, if your con does not have a strong stance against AI I will not attend. If everyone who was truly against gen AI was the same, it would be gone by now.

The alt text is part of the photos, they're quite accurate to the thoughts I had when I was there

Took these about a year ago, in about a month, the leaves will be turning into those beautiful shades of orange again I still remember that day at the expo #stilllifephotography

you still hear them, the crowd is still audible, but at least your ears can relax a bit

walls, panels stretching halfway up a ceiling that's 5 floors high, red, blue, grey, white, repeating... this is not helping

exit sign left
you feel the urge to leave

this is not the exit, but you can breathe out here
...somewhat

if she weren't in a different country, I'd be living my best life

I thought having this as a collage looked really pretty

a collage post of the quoted post

Pseudeuophrys lanigera on a branch, on jeans and on blue coloured glass

this cutie patootie is smaller than my fingernail! likely a male fleecy jumping spider (Pseudeuophrys lanigera) #macrophotography also, what are your thoughts on my new watermark?

Pseudeuophrys lanigera centered in frame on blue coloured glass, there are 2 light bands visible: one where the flash hit initially, right where the spider is standing, and one further back, where the flash got dispersed through the thicker part of the glass

the same spider on the back of a branch, faster shutter speeds made the background darker as I only really get light from my flash

I brought the branch closer to a house plant and lowered my shutter speed to get more ambient light, creating a brighter green background

here he is on my jeans, I stacked 2 photos together for a slightly larger depth of field, usually a focus stack would be above 8 pictures

it's also in reddit, they've got a dedicated r/petraparker, and it's also in r/Spiderman

I think I may have settled on my signature for a watermark

Stopplecone @stopplecone.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

I feel like I need to get a better watermark, but I'm not all too sure what it should be

I don't fully understand why my photos here retain full vibrancy, but as soon as I try uploading to reddit, the saturation drops

A clumsy running crab spider that fell into my cup while I was outside, I was lucky to rescue it by putting it in a container with some paper towels. This little guy was incredibly calm while his photoshoot was being taken! #macro #macrophotography #macrowildlife #spider

a running crab spider that has just dried off on a paper towel, facing forwards.
if you look closely, you can spot that i missed a section of focus when bracketing.

roughly 15-25 images stacked, maybe more, i can't remember, this was taken on 2026.04.18

copper sun jumper! isn't she cute?

these pics were taken about 3 months ago, excuse that.
this photo shows the copper sun jumper (Heliophanus sp.) on a dandelion, facing the rough direction of the camera, looking somewhat down.
looking closely you can see her cleaning the end of her leg

the same copper sun jumper walking left across the dandelion, there is some silk strands visible on the flower

she is perched on top of purple flower buds, looking directly at the camera, cleaning another one of her feet.
(idk what this flower is, but she looks adorable on it)
