it really shouldn't be acceptable to just vote on "economy good today or not" as if there were no policy differences, as if policy didn't matter at all. But right now the economy is also just not very good.

It is not going to happen except to the extent it already does. If the 401k is a standard 401k withdrawals are taxed as income, if it was a Roth they are not taxed. Saving account interest is taxed as income ALREADY. Do the idiots who would fall for this even do their taxes?

yea but please talk about other ANTI tax measures on the ballot. The billionaire tax is a one time tax, I get how good it would feel. But the other ANTI tax measures are of higher importance as they could do long term damage.

Initially I just found the AI joke funny. But at this point, just that it's often not the fault of the Dem party forcing someone on us (although sometimes they do put a pinky on the scale) but voters themselves. If they want a centrist candidate, they'll get one.

it doesn't happen but not because Dems suck (although some of them do) but because MATH 2/3's majority needed. Dems + Independents (Bernie will vote with Dems) have 47 seats. 9 Senate seats are considered contested, Dems have a blowout and win *ALL* 9, that's 56. That's not 2/3s.

it is definitely not the midwest, but an academic medical center here can have a years wait to see a doctor. That's not realistic for anybody. To the point that *ANY* other option of getting legitimate medical care (excluding a complete quack) is better.

"vote, it's important" Yes. But I hate it. Voting is 20 research papers (propositions) I NEVER wanted to research. Many of which are deliberate traps designed to fool people. This level of scams every time is radically demoralizing "vote early" no way, how can I research 20 propositions early?

just about anything would be more productive than relitigating this. INCLUDING examining Nader's ideas for improving government! Much of the current electorate is too young to have voted. Even Gen X, who when young may have been too idealistic, did more harm collectively by voting Trump.
