crazy how Navidrome happens to have two officially recognized third party clients who's developers have vocaloid music in the screenshots on their repos. as someone who literally just made a navidrome instance, i will be using both of these

Two browser windows open.

left:

Ume ni Uguisu is arguably one of the most interesting r-906 songs in that it doesn't have that many views compared to other of the past few years but has spawned infinite covers due to its capability to fuel the world's vocal synth shipping agendas

the difference between fake bad news and fake bad news (tech) is that one is a malicious deception of the public, the other, prophecy

Fake news tweet:

"Zach Hadel has sadly passed away at the age of 33.

He was a talented voice actor, animator, writer and director, known for his work on Smiling Friends, Spongebob Squarepants and more." Included is a black and white photo of Zach Hadel and a screenshot of Pim and Charlie from Smiling Friends.

picdo's songs are back on youtube. please for the love of all that is peak, let us not make them regret this decision

picdo, UTAU producer known for numerous bangers featuring Adachi Rei such as Pan Kogekoge ni Nacchatta, privated nearly their entire catalog on YouTube in mid 2025. This was allegedly due to the behavior of commenters on the site. The producer recently unprivated everything, bringing back beloved songs such as Rei and Mawaru Sentaku Net

i made a list of my favorite vocal synth producers, grouped them based on what voicebank they primarily use, and created a pie chart of the producer count for each voicebank. 18 producers make up this dataset. the results were surprising

A pie chart titled "Voicebanks by Producer" with the following data:

Hatsune Miku - 17%
Kagamine Rin & Kagamine Len - 11%
Kasane Teto (UTAU) - 6%
Kasane Teto (Synthesizer V) - 11%
GUMI - 6%
Kaai Yuki - 17%
IA - 17%
Adachi Rei - 6%
KAFU - 6%
Kevin - 6%
