#Resolve peeps: any idea why it doesn't actually relink to the new files? I have done this dozens of times, and now it doesn't work. All clips are still linked to the originals. "Relink to new files" is enabled.

New Eufy Omni C28 robot vacuum. Leaves neatly packed clumps of debris behind, and the area around the base station is a complete pig sty. My old 2016 1st Gen Mi Robot Vacuum never did that. Absolutely glowing reviews, not only from influencer shills. Either my luck, or just a other shitty product.

#Resolve 21.1: you have AI transcriptions, you display them in timeline. Fine. You shuffle the clips in timeline, transcriptions are gone.

The Blackmagic Micro Color Panel is great but why is there a User button that does literally nothing and can't be assigned to anything, while there's, for example, no way to invert a power window?

This is what they sell for $1000 now. Philips 27E3U7903. It's NOT a view angle issue, the dark corners stay when looking straight at them. Red & green stripes in grey gradient test. After a multi-day rabbit hole, apparently uniform 27" IPS panels aren't a thing […] [Original post on mas.to]

Here we go again, hosed #FCP library. Files are physically there in both originals and proxies, but are Offline and cannot be relinked. All APFS and HFS+ drives, no exFAT shenanigans, no other shenanigans.

Why can't we have simple "Sort by timecode" in Filmstrip view? Content created doesn't do that. #FCP

And the new Quick Apply feature is fantastic! I wouldn't use #AfterEffects without FX Console but this can apply the filter to a new solid or adjustment layer without having to create it first! Great idea!

You know what's also cool? Gemini - the web protocol. Next to blogs ("capsules"), there's a lot of text-only mirrors of big websites, and nice client apps such as Lagrange for iOS. I don't use it a lot, but sometimes I do yearn for a simple, distraction-free reading.
