This is one of my favourite bind-offs for shawls, especially when I’m working with an open fabric and know it’s going to get a good, aggressive block: youtu.be/dD91Z8cFXxA It gives that edge the stretch it needs without fighting against the blocking.

Decision fatigue is very real in the knitting designer world. 😅 When I am in the early stages of a design, there are too many possibilities. It can be paralysing. I can’t decide on the shape of a new shawl, and I keep knitting more and more swatches. Do you have any ways to simplify decisions?

One of the questions I get asked most often about sweater adjustments: “How do I adjust a sweater for a larger bust?” It’s important not to size up the whole sweater; if your frame is smaller, it’s just the bust that needs to be bigger. youtu.be/kLSV6MeRWvU

One little finishing tip I always use #knitsky. When sewing on buttons, I add a small thread shank to lift the button away from the fabric. It helps the button band sit nicely underneath without pulling.
