— running a simulation makes it even better." She turned on her heel, now fully facing the other Spartan. "You're more than welcome to tag along with me for training, I certainly wouldn't mind the company."

Sagiri would then lower her weapon and flick on the safety, glancing down the range briefly before turning to look back at Hana. "Heh, thank you. I like making sure I make the mark. Though stationary targets are fun, —

As she held herself and her weapon steady, she'd already mentally mapped out how she would strike. TAK! TAK! TAK! The short controlled bursts of bullets shredded through the centers of the small paper targets further down the range. TAK! TAK! TAK! It was almost like watching a machine at work.

"Good, I'm sure you'll have a great view of it from over my shoulder too." She'd glance backwards at her and wink. Sagiri lifted her weapon back up to the ready, her finger hovering near the trigger. The Spartan aimed towards some of the smaller targets, looking down the scope and at her targets.

She'd glance over at Hana, a small smile spreading across her face at both her positioning against the wall and the awkward line. "Thank you. I appreciate that." Dark eyes scanned over the other Beta as she lowered the barrel of her weapon towards the floor. —

—And as for the Marine, she simply had decided he would be the person she would run beside. Her pace slowed when his did, and picked right back up as he tried to refocus himself. This caught her attention, only serving to make her more curious about the him as they ran.

If she had wanted to show off, she would have done so from the very beginning. It wouldn't be hard to outpace every other person there, after all. But that's not what she was here for. She was here to run WITH them. —

— Her gaze shifted over towards the private, a small grin tugging at the corners of her mouth as she adjusted to match his own pace. The way she moved, it was almost effortless.

As the CO stepped out to get the run into motion, the Spartan moved in tandem with the cadence. Control and order, both come hand in hand. The Beta moved into a comfortable jogging pace, her body seemingly relaxed, yet engaged at the same time. —

For her, PT was a means of training both the body and the mind. Discipline and pushing her limits and capabilities. The upward progression of honing her skills. "Good, so long as you try, that's what is important."

"Good, nothing better to get the blood moving than a brisk morning run." She was raring to go, almost bouncing back and forth between her feet while jogging in place. "I'll be keeping pace with you, think you'll be able to manage, Private?"

@somenaivepvt.bsky.social Every now and then, she would make a point to do PT with some of the non Spartan personnel. For her, it was means of trying to build bridges between the different branches. It also kept her tethered to her own humanity, even throughout the course of the war. —
