The Pennsylvania Squonk is one of my top 5 best sellers in my shop. The story of the Squonk is that he's so ugly he wanders at dusk crying. But I think my version is pretty darn cute! #stitchmonkey #cryptidsandmonsters #cryptidsofthe50states #squonk #pennsylvania

Felt version of the Pennsylvania Squonk. He's a 4 1/2 inch tall, standing chibi, with acrylic painted details.

Finally able to share this OC in plush form, for a custom order. He's so happy with how his little guy turned out. Base pattern was Choly Knight; I added a few alterations along the way. About 11" tall and 7" wide at base. #stitchmonkey #customocplush #dragonplush #smallestyshop

Not my artwork, and I may be an American (I cringe to say that right now...), but I have a more European believe with cryptids. How cool would be be to pop open a lemon soju with a cryptid on a Friday night! #stitchmonkey #cryptidmaker #customplushies #iwanttobelieve

Although I'm primarily a cryptid maker, I do enjoy custom orders too! The American woodcock has actually become a frequent buy in my shop. The Minotaur I made 2 of those in the order and the cryptid cow was for an ice cream shop! #stitchmonkey #cryptids #customorders #customplushies #etsysmallshop

The Michigan Dogman:1887, lumberjacks chased a dog into a corner and poked it with a stick – the creature stood up on its hind legs, it was infact be a kind of dogman! Like all good boys, the dogman was perfectly peaceful; but they ran away in terror all the same. #stitchmonkey #dogman #cryptids

We have a little foster from the fire. Our brood has accepted Jose the tortoise with open arms and love. We will be keeping him until the family gets situated. They also have 2 dogs and a 200 lb pig that are safe from the fires.

Family and friend are safe from the fires. Unfortunately many friends have lost their homes and businesses. It's just heartbreaking. We're going to do what we can to go and help people recover, build, volunteer and donate as much as we can.
