Shield Laws don’t protect reproductive health service providers from criminal prosecution by another state. I fear for the NY doctor indicted in LA. Extradition between states is both Constitutional & codified under federal law. See Puerto Rico v. Branstad. See also: The Fugitive Slave Act.

I’m asking other lawyers if they can come up with an answer to this question: In light of the extradition clause can anything stop Louisiana- or any state - from extraditing doctors charged with providing abortion medicine from their home states if indicted?
