Got some new watercolor paints for Christmas. Decided to paint a shack from FO4. Found a reference via Pinterest and had some fun! #fallout #fallout4 #bethesda #watercolor #sketch

More adventures with hatching! I watched some tutorials and made these little thumbnails. Idk if I'd keep up with this, I worry I'll have to buy more pens from all the ink usage lol #watercolor #hatching #crosshatching #crosshatch #ghost

Image is of a red church in the background on a green hill with red flowers. The foreground features a ghost looking at a gravestone with a bouquet of flowers on top.

A hatching style image of a house on a green landscape. A wooden fence surrounds a flowery grass area with a picnic bench and a tree providing shade.

Gentle reminder: You don't always have to follow the reference exactly. There's no rules. Draw stuff that's not there. Something I need to say to myself all the time! Reference credit: Sergei Gussev on Unsplash #art #watercolor

Experimented with some hatching today before doing the watercolor. Need to work on my inking for sure. #art #watercolor #hatching

Sometimes I like to look up Minecraft houses and try to paint them. This is a mix of some medieval ones I found. #art #watercolor #minecraft

Medieval-styled house with a stone fence and a mountain in the back. The sun in setting.

First time stretching the paper first before painting, now I get it lol Stephen Coates tutorial on yt. Learning a lot about wet on wet 👩‍🎨 #art #watercolor #sketch

Did some tutorials from Stephen Coates on YouTube. I’m learning the cheat code to drawing people is to draw a carrot 🥕 #art #watercolor #sketching

Ghosts playing with the sprinkler in front of their house. As I’ve been learning to draw in a looser way, I’ve been wanting to draw weird looking houses and think about who lives there. I guess it’s haunted. #watercolor #art #spooky #halloween #ghosts

A tall pink wonky house framed by two pine trees. There are two small ghosts playing with a sprinkler in the front yard.

A little storybook illustration today using watercolor and colored pencils. Wanted something that says, “Pumpkin spice season is upon us.” lol #art #watercolor #cozy #fall

Took some inspo from Albert Kiefer on this one. Highly recommend messing with perspective a little, sometimes you get cool results! #art #watercolor #sketch

Decided to experiment today and use a different sharpie color depending on distance to the viewer. When I showed it to someone they said, “I don’t encourage you doing that, it’s not realistic.” I said that’s not the point. Some people only like black ink I suppose 🥱 #art #watercolor #loosesketch

Loose sketches of buildings with different colored sharpie markers to show the distance between background and foreground. Followed by a wash of watercolor.

Watched a Toby Sketchloose video yesterday. Felt my perfectionism come out when I was mapping out the buildings with watercolor pencil first, but I think it ended up looking pretty good! #watercolor #sketch #art

What if I told you I’m learning how to draw architecture just so I could make weird houses out of vegetables? lol 🥕🏠🐞 #art #watercolor #sketch

Watercolor image of a carrot house and garage. The house has unmatched windows and a small balcony. There is a stump to chop wood and a small storage area for logs near the front door. A ladybug is parked in the garage as if it is a vehicle. There is a power line connecting the carrot house to electricity.

I watched 3 tutorials from Sketching Scottie earlier today so I can learn how he breaks down an image. Still doing 1 point perspective for now, but I’m learning a lot when I draw from references. #art #watercolor #sketching

Watercolor image of a retro trailer next to a tall cactus.

Watercolor image of 3 houses in a row. From left to right: white, blue, and red. The three houses are made of brick. There is a electrical pole partially blocking the view of the house on the left.

Just want to share some of the drawings I’ve made using references I found on Pinterest. I’m relearning how to draw in a much looser way and having a lot of fun. #art #watercolor #loosesketching
