I wanted to try the "get into the Citadel via the pipe organ" route and made it so I'm satisfied 😄 Though I'm going to go back through the early parts of the game now that I have the wall climb and get some collectibles before I head back into the Citadel

One could argue I knew what I was signing up for at my old job but I didn't deserve to get berated for being unable to figure out something on my own, or being given the cold shoulder by my coworkers. No one on my last team cared that I left, they only resented the work I left for them.

I'm struggling to phrase this- I'm sure some people took the backlash too far but you can't let an AI asset be left in your game upon shipment, as it WILL damage your reputation even if you will "deal with it later.". And we can't normalize wasting natural resources for janky newspapers clippings!

Like I get it, let's not rake people over the coals for a mistake but I don't want this to set a precedent that it's okay to use genAI assets, regardless of where you get them. You gotta be careful. Wacom had this exact same fuckup and it was a really bad look

Yes they patched it out quickly and decided that they weren't going to keep using genAI the rest of the process so perhaps it was an honest mistake, but I don't want companies to try to do the same thing and say "Oh it was a mistake"

I won't hold it against Sandfall but I hope this serves as a lesson to not use genAI assets at all. I'm sure it means companies will just get better at hiding it though
