I’m afraid it’s a bias I more or less share. Not that Germany was unique but was definitely ripe with grievances for the nazis to seize power. The US variety of fascism is genuinely similar but Trump is no Hitler. He’s dumber and I doubt Hitler was falling asleep in staff meetings.
