Made it as far as Yankee Doodle Lake yesterday, I bet this weekend's storm will close out the road altogether. Heckin' wimdy up there.

Rock climbing Crooked Cross, 5.9+ in the South Saint Vrain. Stellar 2nd pitch with a poison ivy filled approach, complete with a creek wading.

Finally able to onsight Sunshine Dihedral after looking at it for years. What a climb! 🧗

Went for a quick jaunt up on peak to peak yesterday. Haven’t seen conditions like that in years. When the emergency response vehicle needs rescuing you know it’s real.
