Finally got around to finishing YIIK (including YIIK 2). It's a really fucking good game that doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Granted, the story is confusing as hell and i still don't fully get it, but it's not like that should be a surprise when the game wears its post-modernism in the title.

my bass was sounding fucky, so i brought it to the local guitar workshop and i spent half an hour getting told how badly fucked up it is. and i was like "wow! my bass is like me! there's more wrong with us than right with us!" anyway it has to stay in Bass Hospital for a while as they fix it.

Romeo Is A Dead Man finally made me stop looking forward to Suda51's games. It sucks to admit it, but the success of No More Heroes ruined his career, and now every Grasshopper game is just "wacky guy with a cool sword says oneliners" because he wants to make NMH again so bad. Success ruined him.

I bought Borderlands 4 on the PSN sale and i couldn't bear to play it for more than an hour. I kept thinking "i wish i was playing Ultrakill instead". Ultrakill has ruined FPSes for me in the same way that Disco Elysium ruined RPGs.
