Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I guess the next logical leap is that meta is going to sell VR glasses that can display your fake girlfriend 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I’m the world’s worst cusser. I stepped on the wall plug end of a power cord, an occasion that anyone would agree warranted at least a “fuck”, but my brain, whist recoiling from the pain, only managed to conjure up “ow, jeez, dang, frick, dang” 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Would you mind sharing (in brief) what rendering techniques you’re using? 120
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 09/10/2026For as popular and well-known as James Dean is, I was shocked to learn that he was only credited in three movies, released within about a 2 year window, with the last one released after his death. To be fair he was fantastic in Giant (only movie of his I’ve seen), but still. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I don’t think there’s a single positive comment on their YouTube video 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Like when I accidentally bought a 25lb bag of rice that lasted for 3 months… wanna say it was about $15? 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Honestly my favorite part of this is that he’s complaining about you… performing a fake wrestling move on him that is designed so that the performers don’t get injured. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Had a really good Project Zomboid run going, survived for 16 days. Then I stepped into my campfire and burst into flames and died. I’m the last person you want on your team in an apocalypse. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Honestly: they don’t. Pay it off, that is. A lot of medical debt just sort of sits there, people chip away at it here and there but by the time you’ve made any real progress, some other emergency happens. Some of these larger bills probably go to debt collectors and might settle for a portion. 100
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 30/09/2026And like I get it. Tons of stories have characters making bad choices. It creates stakes, and opportunities for improvement and growth. It’s just if I as the reader can see the bad decision coming it bothers me so bad when the character doesn’t. 120
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I don’t read romantic fiction because I have a weird visceral reaction when characters act in a way contrary to what I would at least describe as “sensible” (not just a problem with romance, so many YA books I couldn’t read) and it not only breaks immersion, it destroys interest in the character. 110
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Nothing beats it! I’ll sometimes mix a can in with a bowl of Mac and cheese 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 30/09/2026youtu.be/v-FEl2_99xs?...youtu.beWhat's your name Tony and Ezekiel (Full Video)YouTube video by Laugh With Mulah 111
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 29/09/2026So if everyone orders the cheapest item at McDonald’s the algo will see that and try to price everything lower 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 29/09/2026But how many of them died? I imagine it’d be easy to claim “he was wounded…he just so happened to die 60 seconds later” 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 28/09/2026These are the kind of influencers who buy a bunch of stuff for a single tik tok reel and then return it at the store afterwards. 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Idk seems like a really low price to pay to get an artist gf: 020
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The craziest thing about Choosing Texas is that somehow Sad Bastard Country music crossed gender lines. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Oh wow I remember playing Microsoft golf! One of the few games my dad had on our windows 95 back in the day. I remembered once just hitting the ball in one direction as far as I could go until I broke the map and it glitched out. 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Hey now, ole TT really knows what he’s talking about. After all, there was at least two dang furries at every football game he ever coached. (Being sarcastic, of course. Ole TT can piss off) 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I also learned that baby squirrels make a sound like a soft sneeze or snort that is their equivalent of a purr (kinda) and is called Muk-Muk 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 24/09/2026And when he was big enough to return to the wild, I carried him outside to a big tree in our yard where we typically see squirrels. Peanut ran along my arm to the tree and sniffed the bark. Then, I kid you not, he ran back along my arm, nuzzled my cheek, and then ran up the tree. 😭 110
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 24/09/2026When he got bigger, little dude loved cherry tomatoes and grapes (we had to surgically remove the skin from the grapes). We also fed him raw broccoli and carrots, as well as some occasional nuts (apparently eating peanuts all the time is bad for them, they’re like junk food) 120
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Aww man that reminds me of Peanut, the orphan baby squirrel we found on the ground. His eyes were closed when we found him, had to feed him formula through a syringe until he was big enough to feed fruits and veggies. 130
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I do reasonably well with either, but I’m typically writing or typing to try and reason my way through a problem or design. In those cases I prefer writing simply because it slows me down (brain goes much faster than pencil) and generally I’ll solve my problems mid-sentence lol 011
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I liked this movie a lot. The airship stuff was really cool. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026He says you’re forgiven because you’re so cute :) 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I definitely prefer watching longer form content as VOD, because I can really only focus on one thing at a time, so that means I have to dedicate time specifically to watching videos. Wish I could just carry around a stream with me all day long, but it would drive me distracted lol 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Unironically I get so irritated using windows on my work computer lol 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Not saying those things won’t happen, but I think he’s trying to set things up where they can immediately launch into “all of this is the Dems fault, we said it would be better if we won the midterms.” While they said that they had a slim chance of actually winning. 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026And I think it’s because he has plausible deniability if they don’t happen. Dems win in Nov, and oil doesn’t come down? He gets to blame them. Iran relations don’t normalize? He blames Dems. And as to why Americans aren’t receiving $5k checks, he will say it’s because the dems won’t pass it. 100
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 23/09/2026So I was thinking about this the other day, and I think lately he’s been laying the groundwork for a R loss in Nov. He said the Iran war would end “after the midterms.” Ditto for oil prices going down. And then the $5k of republicans win. I was wondering why place all that after the midterms? -> 100
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Oh look it’s me At least I managed to get diagnosed before things got too bad. 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Am I the only one who’s irritated that the split is front and back, instead of left and right? 010
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 22/09/2026It really is as if the fantasy is a job I like that supports me. I think another aspect to the popularity of career sims in particular is how they minimize the dull or repetitive aspects of the particular career, usually bureaucratic or societal elements (contacts, competition, logistics, etc) 0190
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 22/09/2026every musical starts with the same song: We are here, Here in this place, This place where we do what we do all day long! Life here can be hard, But maybe it’s not, You could do what we do if you’ve got what we’ve got! Oh look here comes the protagonist! Say hello to the protagonist everyone! 000
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Could that be because their “Control-F” form of redaction might not have caught what they wanted it to in a foreign language? 031
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 21/09/2026It would be weird if a writer wrote something that they wanted other people to think was sexy but they themselves didn’t think it was or that it could be sexy. 140
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 20/09/2026The danger comes from giving everyone access to what would traditionally take years if not decades of study and hard work to achieve, without those people having learned any responsibility or ethics about this power along the way. It is frightening similar to handing a child a loaded gun. 002
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 20/09/2026That’s not to say that this didn’t happen, I’m saying that you’re right and that there were people behind this happening. I think the focus here should be less “AI scary” (for reasons you correctly describe) and more “this is a dangerous tool in the wrong hands”. 100
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I keep hearing these stories and my gut keeps saying “marketing stunt”. Anthropic and OpenAI both have upcoming IPOs. Google is publicly traded. What better way to attract investment and interest than claiming something wild and next level about their product? In a way it’s what VC has always done. 100
Stewcooker Dev @stewcooker.bsky.social · 19/09/2026If only they knew that by treating ED and low testosterone they were enabling those people to pass their genes along, thereby potentially weakening overall testosterone levels of future generations. (Not that it matters) Also isn’t this gender affirming care that they hate so much? 000
