A nice article on my new show, "My Shining Hour", that premieres on May 8th, the 80th anniversary (1945) of VE-Day.

When the tides of life turn against you And the current upsets your boat, Don't waste those tears on what might have been; Just lay on your back and float. -- Art Carney

My neighbor from across the street just stopped by to say: "One Life is all you have. Slow down before you lose it. It would be a shame to make good Time, and then not live to use it.”

It's pretty special to be able to sing with bass only -- especially when it's Dave Young, on bass. Hughe's Room, 2013

You can watch Christopher Reeve's Story on HBO, Crave, Hulu, Apple, ETC!!! He told me on Road to Avonlea he wanted to be more than just a fictional "Super man" in other's eyes. He said he wanted to be the real thing and do something really meaningful with his life. youtu.be/DnT4aSC3MU4?...

I just watched the most wonderful old movie starring Peter O'Toole and Petula Clarke... "Goodbye Mr. Chips" (1969) ... about a beautiful Love affair during the onslaught of WW2 that takes place in a boys school. It was a remake of the 1939 original which I must now find and watch.
