Yeah but he didn't actually lose, he was kicked out because he was super unpopular and they were worried about losing. But I reckon he would have won an even bigger landslide next time because he's amazing, but oh well our loss.

because he doesn't centre on anyone. And wtf with the focus on someone being white. He talks about them all. Stop being weird green person. No wonder the green party is becoming more and more toxic and putting people off and ultimately leading to people to tactically vote to stop them.

It went up a bit when add on the independent bloke who stood last time, whereas Labour's went up by a boy more. Mix of Burnham popularity and Polanski's unpopularity. The polanski honeymoon is definitely over.

yep, although biggest problem for Greens could be all the infighting, and Polanski might end up a victim of all that.

Stephen @stevewelling.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Greens have made them toxic and people are voting tactically to stop them, like with Reform. That is a big worry for the Greens.

People are using the term genocide so much now it's just becoming meaningless. Like apparently Labour are genocidal.

Stephen @stevewelling.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I'm sure you can. Still interesting that he says he would be an Independent local MP, not an MP who is also leader of the Green Party which you might have heard a bit about on the news this week.
000
Stephen @stevewelling.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
yeah but policy is set by party members, so still hardly independent. Why not be proud of The Green party? Why not be proud to be its leader? Can't think.
