It’s time for Government to act. Today, Prospect and PCS took our petition, signed by more than 14,000 people, to 10 Downing Street. Since Capita took over the administration of the Civil Service Pension Scheme, it has been in complete chaos. We are calling the scheme to be brought back in-house.

In response to the government’s amendments to the Employment Rights Bill, we welcome the proposal to lift the cap on unfair dismissal compensation. Too many employers “price in” unfair dismissal knowing the maximum cost. We urge Parliament to pass the amended Bill into law before Christmas.
