it's an extra $30, but i've been really enjoying the PvE version of tarkov. the learning curve is A LOT less steep because you aren't playing against people with 4000 hours. also i think if you bought the game through steam i think you have to use your steam login on the website here.

old to figure importantly in the making of society. Minute by minute they're beginning to diverge from each other. 'Even as we sit here,' I tell them, you are spinning out from the core, becoming less recog nizable as a group, less targetable by advertisers and mass-producers of culture. Kids are a true universal. But you're well beyond that, already beginning to drift, to feel estranged from the products you consume.
Who are they designed for? What is your place in the marketing scheme? Once you're out of school, it is only a matter of time before you experience the vast loneliness and dissatisfaction of consumers who have lost their group identity' Then I tap my pencil on the table to indicate time passing ominously."

On-set conflicts and problems
During a sequence involving the detonation of an enormous kaoba tree, Friedkin was faced with a problem of inadequate explosive power. Initially, Marcel Vercoutere, a special effects man who previously worked with the director on The Exorcist, was to be responsible for the explosion. However, it did not achieve the required effect and barely damaged the tree. This prompted Friedkin to reach for the services of an arsonist hailing from Queens, New York, going by the pseudonym "Marvin the Torch", who arrived at the Dominican Republic three days after the call and utilizing flammable materials obliterated the tree in one take the following morning.

refreshing change to pace to read some rich guy talk about his daily routine and it's just a bunch of non-threatening, yet insane rich person stuff. www.businessinsider.com/popsockets-f...
That walk is really when I have my creative time and toggle back and forth between philosophical topics and PopSocket topics. I'll move from thinking about the nature of consciousness, to how PopSockets can improve the experience of people propping up their phones in planes to watch movies. It tastes great to me because I managed to get my taste in line with reason.

Reason is the slave of passions. Depending on what we want, we rationalize. But our tastes and passions drive us to behave. I think part of being successful is flipping that. You want to control your passions and desires through reason.

in all things in life, seems like people just want to know what's s-tier. what's imba. that you'd be crazy to do anything off-meta. defector.com/toward-a-the...
My suspicion, my awful awful newfound theory, is that there are people with a sincere and even kind of innocent belief that we are all just picking winners, in everything: that ideology, advocacy, analysis, criticism, affinity, even taste and style and association are essentially predictions. That what a person tries to do, the essential task of a person, is to identify who and what is going to come out on top, and align with it. The rest—what you say, what you do—is just enacting your pick and working in service to it.
