Saw this seven week old cutie named Devin again on Sunday. We get to bring him home on a week in Monday. His uncle was our last dog and then that boys auntie before him. Keeping it in the family. Two consecutive generations where the littermate produced our next one after our beloved passed.

Got to catch up with my oldest friend—both nerd friend, and friend period—at WonderCon. We bonded over Star Wars in second grade. Somehow we got old if it’s now been over thirty years. Hadn’t really talked in too many years.

Missing this precious buddy so much. I didn’t even get seven and a half years with you. But the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Most sweet, joyful dog I’ve ever known.

Precious Uly. March 25, 2018–August 6, 2024 I still can’t believe you’re gone. We played ball the day before you went to the hospital, and you were as happy and joyful as ever. You never know how abruptly your beloved pets can be taken from you, even at a young age. and seemingly great health.
