I don't know if it's because of the places that seem to be using AI for flyers/ads, but you know when you've been on a roadtrip too long and have only eaten at burger places and you just long for something homecooked, even if it's simple? That's how AI flyers make me feel.

In terms of quality of the show, I’m with you. I do think Breaking Bad has had perhaps a bigger influence on the way shows have been made after it. BB actually has a fair amount of nuance, but many shows have taken its more bombastic elements as their own raison d’etre.

Relativity is addressed in the book, but only insofar as Rocky doesn’t understand it. It feels sort of like Ryland in the book is supposed to be on the spectrum but it’s used as a way to avoid doing the narrative work of creating emotional connections.
