As long as we're crapping on RFK Jr here, I should say I've been really enjoying the new podcast "Good Science", where my old boss Anthony Atamaniuk does a pitch-perfect impression of the guy as he attempts a podcast with an idiot from the Austin comedy manosphere (expertly played by Gil Ozeri).

Fixed it.
A photoshopped "fact" on film directing. Featuring a picture of Michael Mann surrounded by inserts of Pacino and DeNiro from the movie "Heat."
The text reads, "Michael Mann shot the diner scene in Heat only once. Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino were played by Muppets and later replaced with Footage of Rick Baker and Doug Jones in Prosthetic Makeup. All Practical Effects. No CGI. Please, I'm begging you. Stop sharing obvious bullshit on the internet."

Congrats to legendary editor Jason Baker, the rest of the editorial staff, and everyone who worked on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert for a fantastic run! You're the best in the biz. Here's a vid of Colbert describing how Baker literally saved the show's existence on Day 1.

The most important idea in posting is new. Creates an itch. You simply put your insult in there as a kind of calamine lotion. A new use of his name is a twinge in your heart far more powerful than the post alone. He didn’t shart himself. He trumped himself.

Oh, and here's the answer to why a small documentary about the first lady cost $40 million.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the first lady kept roughly 70 percent of the licensing fee, $28 million, herself.
And, technically, there is nothing illegal about that. "The First Lady is, for ethical purposes, considered to be a private citizen, and so the conflicts of interest statutes, the regulations for other executive branch employees, simply don't apply," says Don Fox, the former acting director of the U.S. office of government ethics, who worked under Presidents George Bush and Barack Obama.

Jury Duty (2023 television series)
Jury Duty is an American mockumentary comedy series that documents a simulated jury trial from the perspective of Ronald Gladden, the sole unaware participant selected via a real jury summons in Los Angeles. 14] All other jurors, the
judge, attorneys, witnesses, and court staff are actors portraying roles in a fabricated case involving a tech CEO suing an individual for damaging a smartphone prototype by spilling coffee on it during a flight.

Turns out I tweeted in 2020 about Paul Stanley saying the right things on vaccines. Fellas, an "honor" personally chosen by Donald Trump – because you're one of the few artists who would accept – is not in any way "honor" you think it is.
A tweet of mine from March 25, 2020 reads "It never would have occurred to me growing up that one day Paul Stanley would be a better role model for public health than the President of the United States."

From a great analysis of last night’s South Park. Trey and Matt may be late to the party, but that’s what’s most notable — and possibly effective — about this bit. www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv...
Screen shot of a paragraph from the article

“But Parker and Stone's long history of making fun of earnestness in many ways makes them the ideal delivery system for an episode like this. Colbert was canceled because the president has thin skin and despises anyone who tells jokes about him, but Colbert was also preaching to the converted. That it was South Park bringing this savagery — not just making fun of Trump, but being so blunt and unsparing in its critique of him - is going to have far more impact, and get more attention, than a famously and unabashedly liberal TV host saying the same things. (Though I doubt any of the current late-night shows would have given us a talking, googly-eyed phallus.)”
