This is enough of a nudge to push me back toward this. Did you do an outright ban of MS Word and force trainees to follow suit or introduce gradually?

I LOVED working in RMarkdown and Overleaf but found it bogs down the moment I have collaborators who want to comment and work and can’t easily get access to our document. How do you handle this?

True, so there’s apparently value in tracking ESI relative to an endpoint (perhaps the wrong endpoint…). Lowering age at first R01 (or anythihg) to me suggests that the ideal scenario is HS -> college -> PhD -> upward. I’m not sure incentives to encourage that are warranted.

Generally, good null experimental papers still produce meaningful information especially in the context of pre-reg. I could definitely see a null modeling paper usefully providing info - eg, we tried to model X using approaches ABC, but none fit.

A new review, written by @hugospiers.bsky.social and @emre-yavuz-21.bsky.social www.nature.com/articles/s44... argues that navigation ability is shaped by both fixed factors (age, genetics) and modifiable ones (sleep, exercise, experience).
