Just had a review published in Pilot and Feasibility Studies on sample size calculatons for pilot cluster trials. We identified 170 pilot cluster trials and found the median sample size per am was 4 clusters per arm rdcu.be/fg2Vf

The TRAINS trials has recently been published in Nature Primary Care Respiratory Medicine. The study included 1389 GP practices and total of 105,746 children and as far as we are aware is the largest cluster randomimsed trial ever undertaken in the UK www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Had a paper published with Kelly Grant on the analysis of recurrent events in clinical trials We recommend that the conditional frailty model be used for these data trials, including cluster randomised trials, to help explain changes in event risk over time, and assist clinical interpretation
