What the hell did I watch? Digger is an absurd, funny and surprisingly complex satire, with multiple layers of storytelling and with moments where everything suddenly clicks into place. I enjoyed it, but it's incredibly difficult to explain, and I can see why it's struggling at the box office.

A couple more. Blood Red Sky was ok, I could see what they were trying to achieve but it was a bit strung out Kraven, the action was decent, but the story had holes and the narrative was rubbish #Netflix

Had a great time, highly recommended 👍🏼 Main issue was there were quite a few machines that had glitchy controls due to overuse and just old hardware. Go in knowing this, you'll have a good time

Operation Wolf 🐺 was a joy to play, I had forgotten how intense the gun vibration was 🔫 Whilst two player, Terminator 2 had very poor tracking and rendered it mostly unusable

There were some super crispy CRTs like TMNT, RoboCop, Bubble Bobble etc Playing Track & Field with a rollerball was weird but I guess it saves joysticks 🕹️

There were some pinball machines with video screens which were awesome But pool was a bit steep at £12 per hour, even if it was under ultraviolet light

I went to NQ64 yesterday in Soho #London Some thoughts, we arrived early (12pm) and whilst it was relatively empty, it was nice to have mostly unobstructed gameplay. Consoles are free to play but arcades take tokens 🪙

38. Psychonauts Finally got around to playing and completing this. I enjoyed the characters, the story, the fighting, earning new psy powers and the platforming. The endgame was quite tough and I was glad to be done with it by the end, the controls are fiddly. It appears seemingly short...

Finally got around to watching this. I think fans will get a kick out of it, as there are lots of overlaps with the game, but there is enough that's new to be different. I can also why anyone who doesn't know the source material might dislike it, some traversal sections can seem meaningless

Meh, I wasn't that into it. Don't get me wrong, looks gorgeous but I found it weird and not as good as the first game IMO. The mind palace stuff was a chore. It was a bit meta and abstract for my liking 🤷🏼‍♂️

37. Deadlight Director's Cut I finally got around to finishing this 2.5D side scrolling adventure set in a post apocalyptic Seattle recommended to me by @martinksimms.bsky.social ages ago I enjoyed the puzzle and action elements and the hand drawn animations between levels, quite challenging
