stevegreeny.bsky.social @stevegreeny.bsky.social · 04/10/2026It's certainly a big building. Big enough to house 100s of levellers who rebelled fighting for Cromwell. Slightly off the usual tourist route by the river. 010

stevegreeny.bsky.social @stevegreeny.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Yes, lovely little pub, tucked away in the village! 110
stevegreeny.bsky.social @stevegreeny.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Feel sorry for local breweries, HN. Donnington, North Cotswold etc. Everyone who visits Cotswolds wants Hawkstone. The Lamb Inn Burford ( a Fullers Hotel) is reluctantly going to stock it! Sorry for the rant. 110
stevegreeny.bsky.social @stevegreeny.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Ah but enterprising local farmer has started Chadlington Brewery at the Tite Inn Chadlington .. and what's more it's Cask Ale ...one in the eye for Jezza. BTW to cope with huge demand Hawkstone is now brewed by Tennants in Glasgow. Love how Hook Norton have a lager called Ironstone 😂 130

stevegreeny.bsky.social @stevegreeny.bsky.social · 04/07/2026I beg to differ. Thornbridge IPA and St Austell Proper Job are inspired by the US IPA revival and powerfully hopped but are true to the origins of English India Pale Cask Ale. Other beers are available. I agree cold fizzy keg "craft beer" is no substitute for a well crafted English IPA cask ale. 120
