Hollow words from a hollow man. The USA, the UK and Russia are signatories of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum to respect Ukraines sovereignty, respect their borders and support Ukraine in the face of aggression . Russia broke that agreement and the USA is failing in its duty and supporting Putin.

Drones and ballistic missiles make the island bases an easy target, the supply lines are susceptible and the islands are too far away to be forward bases. Warfare is changing and the US sticks with outdated practises. The fact the US can’t be trusted needs at the forefront of any decisions.
