A fantastic evening at Leeds Arena watching Prof Brian Cox. Started off with the Snowflake having six sides and delving into the atomic level of stuff. Second half about our journey into space via the Voyager and other probes. I can highly recommend his live tours.

Why make a film about the Peasant's Revolt of 1381 and then pander to the bloody American cinema audience at the end? That shit final 5 minutes or so totally ruins what at the heart was a great film. I wouldn't mind but the folklore it is based on dates to 150 odd years (if not more) earlier.

Started out as one track cover of 'Everytime I'm Kissing You' ended up with a whole album. Recorded at Tony's coffee shop, Bloomfield Square in Otley. The cover of Jolene will drop your jaw, done using the old upright school piano upstairs it is truly a haunting and heartbreaking cover.

This is the monument to Grace Darling at St. Aidan's Church. A daughter of a lighthouse keeper. She became a national figure when at 22 years of age she rowed out with her father in a coble boat in a violent storm to rescue 9 survivors of the SS Forfarshire in 1838. Awarded the Silver Medal by RNLI

I've had a lovely final wander around Pembrokeshire today. Carew Castle, Lamphey Bishop's Palace and the breathtakingly beautiful Barafundle Bay. It's safe to say I've fallen for the place. Going to miss it.

A busy day getting in as much as I can of South Wales before I head off home via Ludlow on Saturday. Today was Abergwili Steam Railway, Carmarthen Museum and Dinefwr Castle in the grounds of Newton House & Deer Park.

After a rainy start it brightened up around dinner time so headed out on foot to Pembroke Castle. Wow! What an amazing place. Spent a good 4 hours just wandering about. It rained for a quarter of an or so but being a Yorkshire lad, I'm used to it.

Nice day out at Kidwelly and Llansteffan Castles. The view from the top of one of the Towers at Kidwelly was stunning. Llansteffan is basically a husk, worth it for the views though.
