I couldn’t upload photos 😕

This simply incredible album will be my number 1. The challenge for me will be sorting the other 4 places from the dozens of amazing albums released in 2015-19. #5DebutAlbums1519 Suddenly Everyone Explodes By Plastic Mermaids Yoyo: youtu.be/eDztGm2_oZs?...

Extra Stuff EP mentioned in my other reply is 26mins. To me that’s definitely an album! I had Deary’s Aurelia EP as my 2024 AOTY. Even It has 6 tracks and was released as an EP, it is also 26mins long. People said it didn’t count for them because it’s an EP. They’ve just released their debut LP.

Ah yes 👍 They tend to get listed as EPs on Bandcamp & streaming services. I’ve even seen some 8 track record named EPs by the artists, eg ‘Extra Stuff EP’ by Computer Magic has 8 tracks.

If it has 3 tracks per side, do you still consider it an EP, or is that an album?

For you, what’s the difference between an EP and an album? Is it number of tracks or album length? Are there any rules?

He likes the Foxtoe Twins and This Mortal Coillar 🐕‍🦺

You might know this one 🕺🏻🪩😄

Alas no! After reading your messages I decided to take the dogs a long walk instead. I can pop down there anytime, and when I do I’ll bring Fred with me.

I’d stopped to squint at google maps for directions to the little crossing over Shoreham basin 🤓

A few videos from The Haunted Youth gig at Colours last night. An exceptional blend of dreampop soundscapes with celestial guitars and fantastic pop hooks. The new album sounds like it’s going to be just as good as their debut. 🧵

Soz. I was typing out running without my glasses on. Best wishes to Binky 🤗

Thank for letting me know. Thinking of you and Beaky 🥺🙏

On my way to see The Haunted Youth play in Hoxton tonight. Bought my tickets last year & been looking forward to this since! Sure we’ll hear lots from the upcoming album, Boys Cry Too, but hopefully plenty from Dawn of the Freak as well. From the new one, Emo Song: youtu.be/FOgv916uQQI?...

Oh so sorry to hear that. Dogs are such important members of our families 🖤

Oh no 😢 I hope your dog gets better soon 🙏

Check out their insta. Saw it and thought of you! See screenshot.

Massive thanks to you James. You helped so many people like me to revisit their favourite artists, and expand their music tastes and musical horizons. It’s all been so life-enhancing and worthwhile. Sorry I’ve not participated much on 🦋 since X became toxic. I’ve missed your challenges 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks Shane. Hope to catch you at the shop tomorrow 🙏

Apple Music for me until I can get to the shop

I’ve got The Haunted Youth gig in Hoxton tonight then the Sussex Road relays at Preston Park tomorrow so I may miss it….but then again… my race isn’t til 3:30pm so I might get to BU shop at noonish 😅

Yes it’s epic. Huge memories coz JAMC were the 1st band I saw in my 1st term in Leeds on Psychocandy tour. All 5 were my go-to albums. I hope you enjoy the other too as much as I enjoy all yours

@vlmvmusic (Alma) was absolutely stunning in Brighton. I urge everyone else to listen to albums Sing With Abandon and Stranded Not Lost. Then go see him live. Phenomenal 🎶👌

VLMV tour starts next week 🙌🙌 If unfamiliar, think Antlers with similar vocal style to Sufjan Stevens, over ethereal guitars, piano, synths / chamber instruments. It’s fabulous. Tickets on the link. Hope to see some of you at Alphabet in Brighton www.vlmv.uk/live
