Beat this!! Admittedly it’s a photo of a photo but it’s legitimately the first photo on my phone right now! It’s a picture of me (in the foreground) and my three eldest sisters sitting on a beach, in Little Aden in 1959. Aden refinery in the background. The photo (of the photo) is dated 2007.

Walked past Festival Hall in Brisbane on my way home from Uni. Heard this powerful but angelic voice from inside. Bought ticket for the next night. Went to the show. Fell in love. Bought three of her albums the next day.

Took my dog shopping in “the big city”. Went into a shopping mall. Security guy came and asked “Is your dog an assistance dog?”. I said “She can be”. He said “Good answer!” He let us carry on. She’s a therapy dog. Makes everyone happy. 😂

I’m actually British and 9% proudly Jewish but don’t let that bother you. Disapproval of Netanyahu’s methods is not antisemitism. Just as disapproval of Hamas’ methods is not anti-Palestinian. Disapproval of Hitler wasn’t anti-German. Disapproval of Trump isn’t anti-American. Do you get it yet?

Seems we might be getting EU pet passports back! My dog’s already hassling me to pack her bag for a trip to Europe! 🙄 I tried telling her they won’t let dogs into Disneyland, so she showed me a picture of Pluto. I mean, how do you explain animation to a 7yo Cockapoo? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Now she’s sulking 🙄
