If you enjoy fiction that sits between the surreal, the philosophical, and the darkly funny, Richard Dominic Flower’s writing is a fantastic find. Think sharp dialogue, mythic undercurrents, and that unsettling sense that reality is negotiable... anarchy-rules.ghost.io @anarchy-rules.bsky.social

I'll be taking some time off from social media. I need a break to recharge and focus on other aspects of life, including Francine Witt's next mystery. Be seeing you! 👌

Juraj Herz's "Morgiana" feels like a gothic fairy tale where the shadows have minds of their own. It's as if Edgar Allan Poe was invited to a tea party and brought his darkest imaginings along! 🇨🇿☯️

I adore Mandy Patinkin and will watch him in anything. However, I find his Alan Whickeresque accent in 'Death and Other Details' hugely off-putting!

We wanted to honour Dario Argento with profondo rosso lighting for this "Suspiria" inspired shot. Unfortunately, it didn't make the final cut, but it's available as a deleted scene with the bonus features of "Òran na h-Eala" exclusively available from Vimeo On Demand. 🎯 vimeo.com/ondemand/ora...

I'm re-watching the Nero Wolfe mysteries, and I'd forgotten how en pointe the exchanges between Timothy Hutton and Maury Chaykin are: Rex Stout's razor sharp dialogue is on a par (or at times surpasses) Dashiell Hammett or Damon Runyon!

The true genius of "Pet Sounds" is not just the meticulous production of each track but the way they mellifluously flow into one extended piece of music. "Sgt. Pepper" doesn’t come close to pulling that off.
