Consider the Budapest Agreement of 1992, whereby Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear weapons & in return, Russia promised never to invade the Ukraine the US promised to intervene if they did. Well, Russia did, & the US didn’t. So much for the US Administration’s word being any better than Russia!
