Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 30/01/2026Project Century update: Done nothing. Had the morbs. Will probably hyperfocus on some random evening and a bunch of new vehicles will appear. 030
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Putting all this effort into Project Century is fun and all, but will people really play Transport Fever in 1800 with very primitive steam engines? 020

Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Four more enhanced Transport Fever screenshots, featuring my models. This is how TpF2 looks in my head when I play 😁 I'm not claiming any effort here btw. I know this is lazy but I'm just having fun.. already spent hours making the mods as it is. Original screenshots to follow. 2102
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 23/01/2026So I messed up my version control with Project Century and kinda broke the mod. Was going to release a new Patron BETA today but looks like I'm spending my time bug fixing. May have one for tonight but it's looking flakey. 020

Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 21/01/2026I realise that this may lose me favour or followers, and I respect that. I had a staunch anti-ai standpoint until recently, but I think I need to learn acceptance and learn to use this technology as a tool to aid in creativity than something to pretend doesn't exist. 000
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 21/01/2026There are many opinions about image manipulation technology, mostly to do with consent, training data and human involvement. Despite that, I have fed one of these models some of my own TpF2 screenshots featuring my own 3D models to see what happened. Feel free to hate this. These are the results: 261
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 19/01/2026The next addition to Project Century is this tiny little engine from 1814, Blucher. 080

Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 13/12/2025In 1851, the Semmering Trials were held in Austria. Lesser known than the Rainhill Trials, the Semmering Trials advanced the development of articulated locomotives. This was the early stages of the articulated locomotive, and like any early locomotives, these were wacky designs. 0123
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Lumo has shown us that a blue train can work. There's potential with this design right up to the first door. If they had just tkept the lining horizontal from then on, and keep colours blocked, it would be SO much better and even good. Would hark back to NSE and even the APT a little 2/10bbc.co.ukBranding and logo for Great British Railways unveiledThe new red, white and blue branding mirrors the colours of the Union Flag, and will start to appear from next year. 141
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Please let this be a mockup because this looks awful 171
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 07/12/2025Being deep into early railway history means I see a photo of a locomotive from like the 1890s and my brain goes "oh yeah it's one of the new ones" because my sense of an old engine has been shifted dramatically. 170
Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 07/12/2025The fact this many engines from 1829 still exist is crazy. 2 of the 3 competitors of the Rainhill Trials 2 sequencial engines in Rocket and Invicta And whatever was going on at Foster and Rastrick There's also Stourbridge Lion in America but it's missing some bits. 1184

Steve Emfore @steve-emfore.bsky.social · 03/12/2025The fact that railway historians can look at this thing and be like "Yeah that seems about right" says a LOT about how batshit crazy the early days of steam was. 3457
