Wardogs is a lot of fun really. Super scratches that itch of Planetside 2 that I've missed. Much smaller scale, and not perpetual, but still really sandbox-y and somewhat arcade-y. Making my own objectives that I want to do that still "help the team" is pretty great for player experience I think.

This new tablet is… wow. I thought it would be a much steeper learning curve since this is my first time with a screen tablet, and also drawing “vertically.” While I do notice some differences in what i make now, they aren’t glaring. Biggest issue is my hand being in the way of what I draw now…

People keep drawing attention to the fact that I draw eyes like they’re wearing eyeliner, even if the character extremely masculine. I posit that it takes a very masculine guy to know it looks good on him and proudly wear it despite societal norms.

still not super in love with the style I can replicate the most consistently, I dislike the more simplified (human head with small snout) look and prefer a much more true-to-life proportion. But honestly if I can just make stuff that looks “nice” easily, that’s enough motivation for now I guess.
