Update on Linda! Back in 2024, we shared Linda’s story at Thundergong. After a life-changing accident at 17, she moved to the U.S. to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. For 10 years, she endured pain from her prosthetic until, with support of Steps, she received a new leg and new possibilities.

For Wade, receiving a prosthetic leg means getting back to the life he loves. An electrical engineer, hockey player, and VFW volunteer, Wade depends on mobility every day. As Wade puts it, a new leg will impact his life "in every way" and help him return to work and the activities that matter most.
