My wife @redheadedsnippet.bsky.social and I are proud to announce we are Bird Aunties. Three bluebird eggs and a chickadee nest in our yard!!!!! We’re so proud to have made a natural habitat that birds choose 😭😭😭

This was without the regular floss, and this is how it frayed after that many stitches btw. Not bad!!! Defs best to work with smaller sections of thread at a time though.

The copper slaps!!! This is double threaded with one strand in a rose gold sort of color regular thread just because it wasn’t popping enough against the black.

I stopped and restarted once because the copper was too light on its own! I had to double thread my needle with a sort of rose gold to make it show up the way I envisioned it.
