iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I had a full head of hair before the morning news landed. And the will to go on!

Why is everything being sold as a subscription? Protein bars, coffee, creatine gummies? I’m being bombarded with ads for products where “Buy Once” is buried under so much crud I bounce. I’m not subscribing to something I can’t easily try first.

The big difference for me was all this technology was available for you to choose to embrace if you had the interest/time/money, it wasn’t being jammed into every facet of your existence without choice. It’s not surprising given the current flock of tech bros and their inability to fathom consent.

Sadly I do. It continues to be disappointing, and worth calling attention to.

The past is best left behind you. I'd suggest haunting used bookstores finding replacements, GoFund as required.

The same group of misogynist dinosaurs that 'spark controversy' over women wearing pants, or voting, or having opinions of their own. Why is this newsworthy @apnews.com? Why isn't the article celebrating Gerwig's accomplishments instead of giving air to a bunch of half-wits' petty grievances?

I have zero interest in watching a podcast, but I listen to them often on long drives. I find the need to make a video out of everything is a really irritating trend.

So if you needed a nudge to ditch Amazon again, how about when you get a delivery the drivers is wearing creep glasses that constantly take photos of you, your home and your property and then Amazon does what with them? Yeah. That’s happening. Gross. www.theverge.com/tech/1002766...

Your Amazon delivery could come with an unwanted photo op.

The second season of Mobland is excellent. Tom Hardy is, as always, calmly terrifying, Pierce Brosnan is brilliant, and Helen Mirren is completely unhinged (complimentary). Newcomer Johnny Flynn just knocked one out of the park. Solid addition.

I love asking a question via email, and getting an entirely unrelated response, but not an answer to the question. Perhaps you wouldn't know this to be sarcasm, but trust me - if you could see that my lips are in fact moving, you'd know for sure.

A Hot Dog Roller is a motorized countertop appliance featuring rotating metal cylinders that cook and warm sausages or hot dogs evenly through 360-degree rotation. So a Holy Roller then...
