Played #Destiny2 with the clan last night. Farmed Root of Nightmares and got my second Conditional Finality and the catalyst within our ten or so runs. We are SO back, babes.

I never resonated with a video game character more than Verso from Clair Obscure Expedition 33 when he said, "I'm...tired."

I started a replay of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and while only in chapter four, there's a number of small details I didn't catch or notice before regarding the overarching story. Between the impending releases of FF7 Revelation, Ocarina of Time Remake and GTA 6, I feel like a kid again.

Twelve years ago, #Destiny came out. I was hooked from the Beta and when it released, I had a broken left hand but so desperately wanted to play, so I held the left joystick against my knee and just rolled with it. I think I played the first two missions this way lol. What an experience.

Watching the Zelda Direct this morning was a full circle experience for me. Watched it with my kids who were absolutely glued to every frame shown. Can't wait to re-experience this with them when it's out.

Pro tip: be sure to warn your spouse or partner you're about to buy a $400 Collectors Edition of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, otherwise you'll get panicked text messages asking if our credit card was stolen 😅

Destiny 2 may not be supported anymore but I still find myself eagerly asking the clan if we're still raiding each week.

Is it still considered a comfort game if you stay up way past your bedtime playing it? Yes, the answer is yes.

Internet is acting like a jerk so instead of working on edits like I wanted to, I'm getting OBS up and running with a Ship of Harkinian (Ocarina of Time) Randomizer layout because I'm dead set on streaming it at some point.

A random game franchise that I wish would comeback is Brothers in Arms. I played through the main three titles and loved how much it felt like "Band of Brothers." Hells Highway especially was epic. A fourth game was supposedly in the works but who knows if that's still happening.

Big week for my freelancing career. Got my first payment and got my website setup! Still not ready to reveal it to everyone but it's about 75% complete. Progress!

I've been playing around with the Ship of Harkinian randomizer settings and am having fun/hating every second of my OOT randomizer run to the point where I want to start streaming it.

I miss Rooster Teeth. There was a time in my life where nearly everything I watched was their content because they put out so much (and because I was a huge fanboy). I remember torrenting season one of Red vs Blue at work and watching episodes during my breaks.

For anybody who is into game emulation on Android, are there any reliable cloud storage services you use to host your games and just have them accessible on any device? Looking at better ways to preserve everything, especially with hard drive prices being what they are.

I tried really hard to be productive today but all I was able to muster was deciding on a design for my website. It's something, I suppose.

My daughter beat her first video game today! She even replayed a level because she missed a collectible and it was bothering her. (I have a mighty urge to go back and get this super easy Platinum 😅)

Spent the entire day editing videos, did some consulting on a social media channel, and did a test run for some ads. My project board that I created for freelancing is empty after one day. That's good, right?

Shoutout to whoever created the music playlist for the Discovery Cube OC. I've heard the Great Deku Palace in the forest area and Great Bay tracks in the ocean exhibit.

I was told by a recruiter today that I was passed on a job because I was "too senior" and "too qualified" for an entry level position. The funny thing is, the title matched exactly what I was the last five years. I'm taking this as a sign to officially start my freelance business.

I am strongly toying with the idea of going into business for myself, offering video editing services, social media consulting, and paid media support for content creators in the gaming space but imposter syndrome is currently holding me back. Like, am I good enough to even do it?

In an attempt to actually play my retro gaming handhelds, I'm working through my backlog dating back to my childhood. I finally beat this damn game and holy shell was it not easy, even with save states. The underwater level can still kick rocks. If you lose Leo or Don you're basically SOL. 5/10

Remember when a big selling point for the #PlayStation 4 was that you could share your physical disc with friends and they went as far as to do this little bit? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

#Sony woke up and chose violence today. There needs to be a better definition of "digital ownership" because they also just removed movies from people's libraries and I do not trust them to do the same here Source: PlayStation.Blog share.google/47sGgFv...

Curious if anybody has any advice or insight on #GrapheneOS. Strongly considering switching from vanilla #Android to it but would love to hear how difficult the transfer process was and what services or apps don't work (financial apps I hear are one such example).

To any #Bungie or #Destiny devs who may come across this, I am coming up on 1.5k hours in #Destiny2 and, like so many others, this game has brought a lifetime of memories and friendships that I'm eternally grateful for. Thank you for all that you've done to bring the world of Destiny to life.

I was up until 11:30 PM last night raiding with friends in #Destiny2. It's been a long while since I had a gaming session with friends like that. Also I can't remember the last time I stayed up past 10 PM playing anything. 😜

A teaser for a games cover art was never something I'd be excited for but then again there's never going to be another #GTA6 So how much do we think this game is genuinely going to cost?

I've only played a few hours of the new update, but this is arguably the best Destiny 2 has been in some time. It makes me happy to feel excited about this game while also feeling annoyed that this is all we're ever going to get.
