So this past fall semester, I wrapped up my tenth year of teaching for the School of Architecture at Miami University’s study abroad center in Luxembourg. It’s been an incredible journey! #eartharchitecture #affordablearchitecture #mudec #miamiuniversity

One of my favorite projects of our firm designed by Sahar and Henri Neuman, a master carpenter in Luxembourg. Using French high altitude Larch from about an hour away along with local spruce and pine, he carefully crafted it over 6 years. saharchitects.lu/portfolio-he... #eartharchitecture

Many climate activists protest things such as flying, but the airline industry only produces 2% of global emissions. Compare that to the 37% coming from the building industry. Concrete production alone is 7-8%. Changing how we build can have a huge impact. #eartharchitecture

It was nice to forget about the worries of the world for a little while and just hang around with my two year old stallion, Estival. Incredible weather for November in Germany! #sporthorses #sporthorsebreeding

The eventer logo. I put this up as the logo for the Sport Horse feed and created a separate feed for dressage. 😊

My two year old Escolar x Storm Watch (Sandro Hit x Watch Me) colt. He’s the black brown one in the middle next to the grey. Another year of waiting, but loving him! 🥰 #sporthorsebreeding

My mare Storm Watch aka Stormy (Sandro Hit x Watch Me). Professional photo from years ago, video still more recently after coming back from her having a foal. She’s 19 years young now, and I’m still learning a lot from her! 🥰 #dressage #sporthorses

Yes, that was still a thing along with some crazy obstacles like this one which fortunately would never be allowed these days. Even back then many protested it. I should have listened and ridden around it like they did. Miracle that I wasn’t hurt outside of some good bruises.

A blast from my more distant past. Back when I hadn’t figured out what fear was! 😉

Some nice memories of my first wins here in Germany with my Dutch mare Gracia. She passed away at the age of 24, and I still miss her.
