Now these are more realistic and in-character reactions of Sonic to his interactions with Amy. Not like the nonsense we see in IDW where he even seems to enjoy her being clingy, even though he isn't supposed to be a touchy-feely guy... Sonic and the blade of courage did it again

Shadow worried about his social status and what people think of him? *sigh* The murder of Sonic the Hedgehog does a good job of portraying some characters' personalities, but it ruins others, like Shadow, so badly it hurts...

I like how at the end of #SonicUnleashed , Sonic doesn't get sad when he sees that Chip is no longer with him; #Sonic just takes a deep breath and keeps running. This makes me think that Sonic, although he loves his friends, isn't attached to them. 1/2

I spent an entire afternoon arguing with someone on X about this cutscene. That person was convinced that Sonic is "smiling" in this part 🤦🏻‍♀️... Even though it's super obvious they didn't even give Sonic a mouth in this scene... Seriously, shippers only see what they want to see 😑

Kyanite @stephcube.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

I know some people are going to hate me for this, but to me, Amy is a little creepy here because it looks like she's rubbing her face against Sonic's arm, that's just weird... And Sonic shouldn't be so normal about it, He always reacted with disgust to this kind of thing

Kyanite @stephcube.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

A few days ago I rediscovered the anime and manga of Tokyo Mew Mew and I loved the character of Kish, He's so well written and I can't believe I didn't notice it before. He's definitely the character that grows the most and I'm glad he managed to save his planet and people. 🧵

Hey guys, tell me which Sonic characters you like the least? I'll start: Amy Rose, Rouge the bat and the deadly six except for Zavok, I kind of like him

Being so scared that your ship will sink that you don't want to see them interact with anyone else is another level of paranoia.

010

Kyanite @stephcube.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

This is why I hate shipping in general in the Sonic fandom. Just look at how this crazy sonamy fan can't stand the idea of Sonic or Amy being friends with anyone of the opposite sex...🧵

Hot Take: I don't like The murder of Sonic the hedgehog, and I think the characters are poorly written, specially Shadow, Blaze and Tails, even Sonic in some of his lines. The only thing they did good with the story was capturing Amy's bratty attitude.

020

Kyanite @stephcube.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

I miss the 2000s when #Sonic 's kindness was more evident than his sarcasm. Now is kind of the other way around...

0102

Kyanite @stephcube.bsky.social · 12/03/2026

Can we see #Sonic in the IDW comics reacting like this again to Amy's attempts? It's much more in character than what we've seen in these freaking comics lately...

Once, when I was drawing a commission of Amy for someone, I told this person that I didn't find Amy cute at all, and they couldn't believe it. It seems this person couldn't accept that I didn't find her pretty, I explained to them that I never liked the color pink, dresses, and girly things... -

Unpopular opinion time I like #TangleTheLemure way more than Amy and I hope she becomes a permanent member in Sonic's main group of friends in the main games. Honestly, #Sonic needs another female friend to interact with besides Amy, one that isn't stuck in another dimension.

It's interesting how in a post where the author asks you what you think of Silver, someone answers like this; It's as if that person were thinking: "Okay, how can I make this about Amy?"

Unpopular opinion time: I don't like SAGE; I feel like her presence in the franchise is forced. I never felt an emotional connection with the character like I did with others like Chip or Merlina.

It's hard to believe this game will be 20 years old this year. If I had to rewrite the story, I would make it so that instead of a kiss, it was Elise's tears that revived #Sonic That at the moment she is praying beside the body, her tears fall upon him and he wakes up as Super Sonic 🧵1/2

I'm sure that for Sonic, the concept of a date no longer exists; he's willing to spend a day with someone regardless of gender and will see it as spending a good time with a friend, I personally love that he doesn't have favorites #sonic #sonicthehedgehog #IDWsonic #SonicIDW #Blazethecat #AmyRose
