Market had poor turnout, probably from lack of advertising. I made back the table fee and then some so it's alright

Sketches of Aiba from Arashi. Even though I was a big fan for many years, I wasn’t drawing much at the time. now that they have ceased activities, I want to do fan art (>.<) I will always be a fan of Arashi so it’s ok (｡T ω T｡) #arashi #aibamasaki #嵐 #相葉雅紀 #fanart #art

Some gobyfish or walking fish in my sketchbook. They are so silly looking :p #art #watercolor #watercolorillustration #illustration #natureart #sketchbook

Sketchbook page of three goby fish painted in loose watercolor. The top is front facing with its mouth slightly open, the middle is 3/4 view with it's mouth fully agape, bottom is from behind and full body as it jumps into the air.
Text reads:
Gobyfish
- bottom dwelling carnivores found in various marine environments, even fresh water
- many have symbiotic relationships with burrowing shrimps
- they have fused pectoral fins that form a disc-shaped sucker foot

Market prep for the rest of the summer should be chill so I'm excited to paint again ( ˙꒳˙ )

The market got moved a day due to weather and it was still windy and cloudy today. Traffic was lower this year but I did pretty well considering ⸜(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)⸝ #art #smallbusiness

Had a meet up with people from the art crawl today. My area has a lot of older artists who are more traditional about art, like original art on canvas or framed watercolors, so their first question for me was "what do people do with your stickers?" Lol

stephany @stephanylayart.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The Cricut wasn't able to cut all the way through on most of my stickers but that could be because it's a shared resource so the blade is dull. I may grab my own to bring with me next time. Spending today with a craft knife to free the remaining stickers

I was so excited to find out my public library had a Cricut machine but omg the hoops I have to jump through for the software to let me do what I want. It even craps out when I try to use it the way its intended ლ(¯ロ¯ლ) Hopefully it'll speed up my sticker production and this'll all be worth it...

I wear size 5 women's shoes so I often don't bother looking for shoes at the thrift store since it's rare to find my size. Imagine my surprise to find these beauties in the boutique section! I had to snatch them up (I don't need more shoes)

I may have accidentally put too much salt in my tone when someone *told* me we used to have them and I replied "no, we didn't." We haven't since I've worked there and I should have redirected them to making their own. It can be hard to manage the snark in retail (￢_￢;)
